"Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses."

"I was fighting for your freedom—spewed an overtly patriotic ignoramus with an air of righteous indignation—and you should be thankful to people like me."

NO YOU WEREN'T! I sharply replied. I never asked you to! What you are doing right now is insulting my intelligence and expecting a "thank you" from me. And if you took the liberty to "fight for my freedom," don't you think you should have consulted with me first? Since it is my freedom we are talking about, don't you think I should have some say in it? If you took upon yourself to "fight for my freedom" without my approval or consent, you are simply encroaching on my rights to decide for myself one way or the other. You did not ask me and I did not approve for you to go into some poor black and/or brown people's land to kill them on my behalf. Had you consulted with me, I would have never agreed to any such a thing.

I have never been oppressed. I have always been free and I have always been able to move about freely—within the U.S. and outside the U.S.—and never had anyone coming up to me, or after me, attempting to take my freedom away. I have walked the streets of countries you call the "bad guys" and not once I felt threaten. Nobody has ever threatened my freedom except my own government. What you and others have been fighting for has absolutely nothing to do with me and my freedom, or even your own for that matter. And any alert and well-informed observer, who has not been brainwashed, would readily recognize that.

Do you think of yourself as being a "hero" or a "freedom-fighter" or a "liberator" or a "peace-keeper" or a "defender of democracy," or a "peace maker"? Well, here is the naked truth. You are not any of those things! What you are is a gullible, perhaps sincere, pawn used by big banks, big corporations, the military industrial complex and its associated discourse of America hegemony which dominates domestic and foreign politics, and by globalists to rubber-stamp policies of folly. What you are is a brainwashed, expendable, and trained killer to do the killing, and the dying, for an interventionist, monopolist, expansionist, and absolute hegemony agenda in which there is absolutely nothing for you except—if you are lucky and can make it back in one piece (or half)—is a fucking medal and a meaningless speech by those who do not really give a shit about you and your family.

What you are doing—and I would grant that not necessarily consciously—is helping to further destroy this nation whose bloated "defense" (a misleading use of the term) spending (43% of the world total) remains at the same level of that during the Cold War. Yes, we spend more in so-called "defense" than all the rest of the world put together--despite our massive budget deficit. Someone said: "The point of war is not to win but to prolong it." In order to operate, the Military Industrial Complex necessitates perpetual wars because war is a racket with incredible returns. What you are doing is aiding the corrupt banking system to consolidate a vast wealth into fewer hands. You are a participant in the illegitimacy of the U.S. unilateral policy in international affairs. U.S. holds in only 5% of the world population, yet it consumes 50% of the world's resources--particularly energy. Your work is contributing to the terrible impoverishment and gradual enslavement of mankind to a few incredible rich. One third of our children do not graduate from high school. We are 26th in the world with respect to education. Our health system is in a shambles. American jobs have been shipped oversea for a chipper labor thus the high unemployment rate. A government that has allowed the Federal Reserve Bank—which is no more "federal" than Federal Express and possesses no "reserve"  except the self-granted unchallenged right to print money out of thin air—the greedy corporation giants, thieves, murderers, psychopaths and unscrupulous liars to run amok and hijack this nation with zero accountability. But then again, these are the same people running our government, and that perhaps could help to explain why 2.3 trillion dollars of the Pentagon's budget is unaccounted for. Now, I am very clear that being "unaccounted for" does not necessarily mean that the money is missing or outright stolen, however, how do you lose track of that much money? Where did that much money go to? A at minimum, this unaccountability of 2.3 trillion dollars reflects a high degree of incompetence on the part of our government. What happened to the 8.8 billion dollars assigned to the "Development Fund for Iraq"? Our internal infrastructure is falling apart. U.S. national debt is now 7.7 trillion dollars. The average Americans now spend a record amount of their money just paying off the high interest on their loans; and yet I am constantly hearing dumbasses parroting the same phony, delusional, and self-flattering bullshit ad nauseam: "Oh, we Americans are the smartest. We're the #1 in the world. We're the best in the world. People hate us for what we are, for what we got, and for what we stand for"--disingenuously glossing over the real reasons why those nations, that have been victims of America's unipolarity, hate our guts. And this is what you are fighting for! These are the same criminals who send your patriotic dumb-ass oversea to kill people who have done nothing to you and get killed while they rob your country blind!

"I'm fighting to support and spread democracy." NO, YOU'RE NOT, YOU FOOL!
You are, to the elitists, the warmonger profiteers, AIPAC and the Neo-Cons, an insignificant disposable pawn used to further the imperial mission of economical, political and military control of foreign lands. All predicated upon its deeply-held belief of moral superiority--which constitutes but a false pretenSe--and the self-deluded myth that America is the epitome of "freedom and democracy." America crusades and demands that all the world accept the American "way of life" or else while, on the one hand, giving weapons and diplomatic support to corrupt royal families of Bahrain in Saudi Arabia and the other tin-pot tyrants of the Persian Gulf who have banded together in a savage repression of their own democratic oppositions, and on the other hand, toppling governments that do not toe its line. And this exposes the hypocrisy and the irreconcilable dichotomy in the thinking and claims of our leaders.

DON'T PATRONIZE ME! You are not fighting for my fucking freedom and I do not want you to! Further from "spreading and supporting democracy," the records of the U.S.A. undermining democracy and provoking anti-American sentiment around the world are overwhelming and well-documented. In fact, our government's intelligence entities have worked tirelessly day and night to destabilize democratically elected governments in South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin-America that did not toe its line—bringing their leaders down and installing cut-throat dictators whose atrocities of human rights and corrupt dealing were/are well-known to our government and everyone else. Here are just a few examples which demonstrate that "spreading and supporting democracy" is nothing but boldfaced lies:

U.S. occupied and ruled the Dominican Republic between 1916 and 1924. Shortly thereafter a military general by the name Rafael Trujillo, took control of that nation with the National Guard which was created and placed under his control by the U.S. government. Back in the '30s, this puppet-thug, general Trujillo, killed some 30,000 Dominicans and Haitians in an attempt to make his side of the country "more white." This puppet-thug had the U.S. backing until the mid '50s when he was placed under economical sanctions for his attempt—among other crimes—on the life of Venezuelan president Romulo Betancourt. Not too long after, the U.S. supported the conservative opposition that overthrew him and then killed his thug-ass in 1961.

In 1953 the CIA, in cahoots with the British Secret Service—under the not-so-cover operation termed "AJAX"—orchestrated the overthrown of the then Iran's Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, who came to power through electoral process, and put their yes-sir puppet, the Shah, back on the throne who then ruled Iran with an iron fist with the blessing of the United States and the British. The British and the Americans were sucking the oil out of Iran, while majority of the Iranian common people were living in poverty. Why should strangers, who do not even look like you, be in absolute control of the resources in your own house? You would not allow it, would you? Mr. Mosaddegh nationalized the oil of his nation to eliminate poverty and raise the living standard of his people; but to the west that was an act of insolence and an affront, and they were bent on making Prime Minister Mosaddegh to pay for his crime, and that they did because the U.S. will not accept any exercise of sovereignty by any nation if their sovereignty interferes with the U.S. imperial hegemony. No, it is not by accident that the oil richest continent is embroiled in a seemingly endless conflict. The West—primarily the U.S., the British and the French—bear a great deal of responsibility for much of the Middle-East turmoil. This, and United States' double standard, bankrupt foreign policy, has been in essence the Islamic main motivation for fighting Americans and not the conceited, self-deluded, and self-flattering platitude that "they just hate us for what we are and what we got."

After Indonesia long struggle against the Dutch colonialist thugs who ruled that nation for 350 long years, and then against three and a half years of Japanese occupation, Sukarno, the first elected president of Indonesia, wanted to implement national policies he believed were right for his country and his people; and that should have been nobody's business. In his attempt to do so he created enemies with outsiders; mainly, of course, the U.S. and the U.K. who had their fat hands on that nation's mineral, agricultural and energy assets. Well, guess what happened? Yep! You probably guessed right. The CIA was behind the bloody overthrow of Mr. Sukarno in 1965-66 that left a death toll of more than half a million people. The CIA itself called it "one of the worst mass-murders of the 20th century." But the CIA attempts to topple President Sukarno started much earlier back in 1958, but the attempted coup was unsuccessful. Sukarno was, it is said, a dictator because he was president for twenty years; however, it is left out the fact that in his two decades of reign, he wielded real power only in the last six years of it. And nothing or very little has been said about the Guided Democracy—the executive dominated electoral system he instituted earlier in 1959. Surely he was not perfect, but he was not even close to the like of U.S.-backed ruthless and mass murderer dictator Mr. Suharto, who in his thirty-two years of ruling killed just as much people—if not more—as Pol Pot in Cambodia, and imprisoned almost as many people. But he was serving the economical and geopolitical interest of his masters in Washington so that makes it ok. So as you can see, no "democracy" here.

The Phillipines: 1898-1914

U.S. Brig. Gen. Jacob H. Smith: "I want no prisoners. I wish you to kill and burn.
The more you kill and burn the better you will please me. I want all persons killed
who are capable of bearing arms in actual hostilities against the United States."
Major Littleton W. T. Waller: "How young?"
                     Smith: "Ten years and up."

-Exchange on October 1901. Quote from the testimony at Smith's court martial by the New York Evening Journal (May 5, 1902) General Smith was a well-known veteran of the Wounded Knee massacre.

The Congo's vast mineral wealth has always been the focus of western interest—not "democracy." The assassination on January 17, 1961 of Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of the Congo who had the best interest of his people at heart, was masterminded by western governments. The same western power then brought Joseph Mobuto to power. A fuckup clown, a traitor to his people, and an Uncle Tom of western powers who ruled the Congo for thirty-two years with the accustomed despotism of tyrants—all with the blessing of the Belgian government and Washington. Nope! No "democracy" here either; only colonialism and exploitation, not just in the Congo, but throughout the entire African Continent. The Europeans had colonized the whole Continent of Africa for hundreds of years. If there was any genuine desire and genuine attempt to develop and democratize Africa we would have seen that taking place by now; yet, there has been in Africa very little to nothing that resembles "democracy."

Salvador Allende, in Chile, was democratically elected with a margin of votes far exceeding that of Mr. Bush in the state of Florida. But President Nixon, under the advice of his buddy Mr. Kissinger, ordered the then CIA director, Mr. Helms, to "save Chile"; so on [9/11] of 1973 President Allende was viciously gunned down during a coup carried out by the military chief at that time named Augusto Pinochet. This psychopath thug, Mr. Pinochet, then took over the governance of Chile for 17 years. During his reign, according to different verifiable sources, some 3,000 people were murdered, 30,000 tortured and 70-80,000 were placed in detention centers (concentration camps). So tell me, Mr. Hero, what the heck all of this crime against humanity has to do with my freedom?

"Lest this seem to be the bellicose pipedream of some dyspeptic desk soldier, let us remember that the military dealing of our country has never been defensive warfare. Since the Revolution, only the United Kingdom has beaten our record for square miles of territory acquired by military conquest. Our exploits against the American Indian, against the Filipinos, the Mexicans, and against Spain are on a par with the campaigns of Genghis Khan, the Japanese in Manchuria and the African attack of Mussolini. No country has ever declared war on us before we first obliged them with that gesture. Our whole history shows we have never fought a defensive war. And at the rate our armed forces are being implemented at present, the odds are against our fighting one in the near future." -Major General Smedley D. Butler (America's Armed Forces: 'In Time of Peace', 1935)

"He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."  -MLK

From the Spanish-American war in 1898—which started with a well-orchestrated hoax—to the invasion and occupation of Iraq in 2003, our government has been consistently deceitful. Since 1946 it has been running a [terrorist] training camp simply called the "School of America" initially, and later in 2001 renamed as "Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation." That is quite a long and fancy name and charade for the kind of training that was (is?) actually being conducted in that "School." The "School" has trained more than 60,000 Latin-American soldiers and policemen. Among its graduates are many of the continent's most notorious torturers, mass murderers, dictators and state terrorists.

This is not a false and unfair indictment of our government. All of this and much more is well-documented in an almost 700 pages document called "The Family Jewels"—officially made public on June 26 of 2007, and available to anyone who cares for truth.

"America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds itself to be false to the future."
-Frederick Douglass.

Circumlocution and modulation of demagogy—from one minute to the next—intrinsically dominates America's political culture. When, and only when, it suits them they would call an act or deed for what it is; namely when it is a wicked deed committed by another nation…….that is not, of course, part of its circle of "friends" or so-called "allied." When similar act(s) or deed(s) is carried out by America then different terminologies—old and new ones—are uttered in a deliberate attempt to be vague, evasive or to gloss over its negative connotation. A strongly valid legal argument can be made that the economical and military sanctions, imposed by the U.N. Security Council on Iraq at the request of the U.S. in 1990 have come—after 12 years of large scale devastation of that nation that took the lives of nearly one million people (half of them children)—amount to no less than GENOCIDE. LET US FUCKING CALL IT WHAT IT IS! Now add to that tragedy another human cost of more than 100,000 innocent civilian casualties, due to an all-out unprovoked invasion by a gang of former colonial powers, headed by the United States, in 2003. All predicated upon what turned out to be a cooked up lie that Saddam Hussein had WMD, and their typical charade that "Saddam Hussein was killing his own people"—when, in fact, with the sanctions they were killing more Iraqi people than Saddam Hussein did [if] in fact that is true. Saddam's or anybody's evil does not justify yours! And the whole world sits back, watches this evil being perpetrated, and does nothing! So we are not allowed to get out of the grip of the violated law of the whole on any pretense of individuality or limited liability. January/February 1998 magazine, Catholic Worker, explains it this way:

"[A] war of collective punishment, a war of mass destruction directed at the civilian population of Iraq. The U.N., at the request of the U.S., and contrary to international conventions and treaties, has created in Iraq a zone of misery and death--with no end in sight. The toll of these sanctions on an entire generation of Iraqi children is incalculable. What are the implications of Iraqi children growing up traumatized by hunger and disease, if they survive at all? How can the deeds of one leader, or even an entire government, be used to justify this unprecedented, internationally sanctioned violation of human rights? The devastating effects continue to harm the environment, agricultural production and health of the Iraqi people significantly."

And while all of this evil was, and still is, perpetrated against other sovereign non-western nations, the Bill of Rights of our own nation has been trumped by the so-called "Patriot Act" right along with the "NDAA"—by far the most draconian pieces of legislation which involve many unconstitutional provisions and were passed without any public debate. And let us not forget the unprecedented intrusion of the NSA in our lives--playing fast and loose with the Constitution and shitting all over the 4th Amendment in particular, and ostensibly telling us that embedding their noses deep in our asses is a good idea and it is all for our own good.  The gullible citizens of the United States have been conned into accepting a system of oversight and surveillance disguised as "Home Land Security" (a euphemism for a pre-fascist surveillance state) by creating a psychological sense of need to be protected from a dreadful monster the government itself created or helped to create—giving them the ostensible idea of absolute security. Creating a negative consequence and offering a solution to such a consequence is Mind Control 101. Fear is the #1 pressure point that is applied to propagate something and gain support for any proposed solution.  And this dealing of our own government in both inside our nation and around the globe, more than anything else, has been the real threat to our freedom and liberty and not any so-called "Al-Qaeda Terrorists." If you genuinely want to fight real terrorism and terrorists, then you need to go to its network--YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT! The neo-cons sent you oversea, presumably, to hunt down the Taliban and Al-Qaeda terrorists, now they are arming and supporting--using our tax money--the same groups in an attempt to bring down the current government in Syria. How the fuck does that add to our safety?

"Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them." -Frederick Douglass.

No, we never, EVER, brought any peace and democracy anywhere we have gone in this world because that has never been the underlying desire and intent; particularly in the Middle-East—an oil-rich region—Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin-America. What we have brought with us to those places is warships, warplanes, tanks, bombs, guided missiles, and hundreds of thousands of indoctrinated disposable fools and gun-hoes filled with all kinds of prejudice and hang-ups willing and ready to crush any opposition to U.S. world domination. And I have never, and will never consent to any such barbaric acts. And my soul surely will Rest In Peace free of such a burden. My alliance, pledge and loyalty is uncompromisingly to the truth and nothing else. So don't you dare to tell me: "We're fighting to preserve your freedom." FUCK YOU!!! Whatever your reason or motive may be for enlisting in the military and go oversea to slaughter people who never wronged you, you happen to be, by all accounts, on the wrong side of history. And I will surely tell you that you will be better off if we, atheists, are right and it turns out that there is no god--particularly a just god. I know that the idea of being a "freedom fighter" makes you feel proud, warm and fuzzy, but it is a false idea sold to you by those criminals who would not put on the uniform and go and do the killing and the dying themselves. Ask yourself this basic question. Why is it that our political culture, presumably the highest expression of ideals of freedom and democracy, has routinely gone around the globe overthrowing elected governments, offering support to corrupt and brutal dictators, training and funding terrorist cells and unleashing merciless attacks on civilians when our country wages unprovoked war against other nations? The U.S. has a terrible historical track record when it comes to establishing so-called "democracy" when they have invaded other nations under this false banner. And it is in the Middle East, perhaps more so than any other place, where they bear the worse of this record. You must understand that the use of military force against any nation attempting to impose a "democracy" they never requested, is the height of arrogance. It is a dichotomous action which undermines precisely the very principle of what democracy really means. And if you cannot comprehend this, then there is something fundamentally wrong with your thinking process. The claim that the U.S. is the ultimate fulfillment of the values of justice is but a false claim. It runs counter to its long history and record of brutality, both at home as well as abroad. And if you have any doubt about this indictment, then let us ask the native people of this land, the Africans and their descendants, and the citizens of Nagasaki and Hiroshima and Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Indonesia. No, you are not a "freedom fighter." All things considered, what you are is a pawn-agent of death and destruction.

"Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses."
